Porn + Pumpkins = Pornkins. Seriously?
Sometimes even I am amazed at what products end up reaching the marketplace. Case in point... Pornkins. They are porn-themed pumpkin carving stencils for all your naughty pumpkin needs. Is there really a market for this? People buy them?
(WARNING: You can click here to see the other Pornkins stencils, but I'm warning you that they are VERY graphic and VERY NSFW! Way more graphic than the example I've shown here. This one is downright Disney compared to a couple of them. I think I'll go wash my eyes out with soap...)

Another photo of unknown origin
I'd love a plastic pumpkin collection like this.
(I'm not sure where I found this image, but when in doubt, I always assume that I stole it from Pumpkinrot)

Topless pumpkin-heads
How come none of my friends ever want to strip off their shirts and run around graveyards wearing paper-mache pumpkin heads? My friends are lame!

The Weird Al pumpkin
Fantastic! I've long felt that Weird Al deserved to be immortalized on the face of a pumpkin. Bravo to Pumpkingutter for carving my boyhood idol into a goard.

Naked Pumpkin Run
According to this 2008 article "The Naked Pumpkin Run’s origins date back to 1999, when — according to the event’s Web site — two men, having worked their way through an undisclosed number of six packs, came up with the idea of running nude with '20 pounds of orange flesh thrashing atop their heads.' Since then, the event has grown — 150 people participated last year — and spread to locales such as Seattle, Phoenix and Bloomington, Ind., according to the run’s Web site."
Click here for the official "Naked Pumpkin Run" website.
*Warning: Do not click either of the above links if you are offended by images of drunk naked crazy people running around with carved pumpkins on their heads.

A virtual pumpkin
A virtual pumpkin that you can carve? What will they think of next? It's the perfect way to kill time and test out new jack-o-lantern designs. Click here to start cutting.

Stolloween pumpkin making tutorial
I've been a fan of Stolloween's paper-mache work for a long time. That's one of the reasons why I'm so excited that he now offers a tutorial on how to create this patented style of pumpkin. Fair warning though... towards the end of the tutorial there is a very graphic photo of one of his fingers with the tip cut off. (Actually, there's also a photo of the severed tip sitting on a piece of newspaper, but I didn't find that quite as disgusting.)

Carving pumpkins in the nude
I guess that would be one way to avoid getting pumpkin guts all over my shirt.

Extreme Pumpkin
"Extreme Pumpkins" is one of my favorite pumpkin carving sites. You wont find shots of the typical
"scary face" pumpkin here. Their designs are far more unusual, like the "drowning pumpkin", "conjoined twins pumpkin" and "fire-breathing pumpkin". Plus, they offer a huge gallery of pumpkin images, advice on pumpkin carving, and tips on keeping your pumpkin from rotting.
