You know what ambigrams are, right? They're those cleverly designed words that read the same way upside down as they do rightside up. If you read Dan Brown's book "Angels and Demons" then you've already seen some of John Langdon's work. (Yes, the book's protagonist was named after the artist.) Halloween magic with Ed Alonzo

I've always wanted to perform a Halloween Eve magic act out in my yard. If I ever get a chance to do that, I want it to be just like my friend Ed Alonzo's annual "Howl-o-ween" show at the Great America amusement park in California. Check out this great burned alive trick that he calls the "Chamber of Boom". (If you want to skip the set-up, fast-forward to 1:30. That's where the actual trick begins.)

Zorran's Horror Finger

If you really want to freak out the trick-or-treaters this year, go out and buy yourself this simple magic trick. The effect looks like you're using a box cutter to cut halfway through your own finger. They'll definitely scream as blood seeps out of the wound. Very realistic looking and easy to do.
