Pumpkinrot corpse

I just received this amazing custom-built corpse from everyone's favorite haunt artist PumpkinRot. Look at the detail he put into it. It's gorgeous! Right now it's the centerpiece on my dining room table. I wonder how long past Halloween I'll be allowed to keep it there...

Winged Demons

Here's a cool new site that was brought to my attention by Kurt at Grim Visions.

I'm really impressed with the "winged demons" this woman was able to create out of chicken wire, masking tape and paper-mache. I can't wait to see more of her stuff.

More paper-mache madness

For my money, one of the finest prop builders around has to be Krough at GrimVisions. What he does with paper-mache is amazing! Check out the three trees that he has created for his yard haunt. You can see a tortured, writhing soul in the trunk of each one. Click here for complete instructions on how to build one of these props for your own display.

Pumpkinrot is king!

Well, it seems appropriate that a new blog devoted to "the best of the Halloween-themed best" should begin with Pumpkinrot.

This master of the yard haunt is considered "a god" by many hardcore Halloween enthusiasts for his homemade, ultra-realistic paper-mache corpses and high-quality photography.
