I don't remember where I found this image, but wouldn't it make terrific wallpaper? Maybe I can find a company that will custom print a few rolls for me.

Bat and demon wallpaper

Trustworth Studios creates beautiful hand silk-screened wallpaper from vintage designs originally created in the 1890s during the English Arts and Crafts Movement. And though their per role price certainly isn't cheap, they do offer one option that most other wallpaper manufacturers don't... they will sell their designs by the foot! And at just $7 per foot, that's a pretty good deal. So you can spend $21 or $28 on bat wallpaper, toss it in a frame and BOOM!- instant art.

We're in the process of repainting my son's room. Maybe we should consider this wallpaper instead.

I thought I'd discovered the world's coolest wallpaper back in 2007, 2008, March 2009, and October 2009. Oh, how wrong I was! This gorgeous irridescent flocked skull wallpaper has all the others beat hands down. Can't wait to get some for my bedroom.

Happy Halloween! As a Halloween gift to you all, here's a new computer background wallpaper I created using images from this guy's amazing vintage mask collection. Enjoy!

Custom wallpaper

Rollout Creative Inc. produces beautiful, custom wallpaper. My favorite of their designs was created for Worth Clothing. It "mashes together punk rock, granny, and brothel themes into a beautifully eerie statement on voyeurism and vanity. From a distance, the decorative filigree draws the viewer into the gaze of a wall filled with x-ray human skulls. These 'mirror mirrors' reflect the impending decay that will one day wither our beauty and strip away our youth once and for all. Its ominous call challenges us to live, work and party hard."








I also really enjoy this wallpaper designed by and for Marc Ecko. There's not enough black, skull wallpaper in the world. Glad to see this company is doing their best to remedy that problem.

Real bug wallpaper

Unlike the ant wallpaper I wrote about earlier, these wall coverings are made with real bugs. Artist Jennifer Angus uses dead insects to create giant installations that explore ideas of home and comfort.

This wallpaper is admittedly one of the least "Halloween-y" items I've written about. Still, I think there's a certain "haunted house" quality to any wallpaper whose design is composed of thousands of ants.
