Halloween should be scary, not cute!

Believing that Halloween costumes are supposed to be scary, not cute or funny, my friend David transforms himself each year into the things of nightmares. Recently, he was an evil vulture. It took him nearly three and a half hours to affix the latex Scream Team appliances and get the make-up just right. I'd hate to bump into him in a dark alley.

Zorran's Horror Finger

If you really want to freak out the trick-or-treaters this year, go out and buy yourself this simple magic trick. The effect looks like you're using a box cutter to cut halfway through your own finger. They'll definitely scream as blood seeps out of the wound. Very realistic looking and easy to do. Scary Clowns

I was already familiar with Krypt Kiddies - a line of collectible horror baby dolls. Now I find out that this same company produces a line of Krypt Kiddies clowns. (Or maybe it's "klowns"?) Now I'm not usually afraid of clowns, but these things give me the willies. If I woke up in the middle of the night and saw this demonic fella staring at me, I'd have a heartattack.
