Giant bloody fingers
The Ksubi jeans company created this "peaced off" sculpture. After sending it around the country, they published a limited edition book filled with photos of the piece in different locals.

Discarded mask
Not a bad idea! Take an old mask and light it up from the inside. (This piece is by Nik Kosmas and Daniel Keller.)

Topless pumpkin-heads
How come none of my friends ever want to strip off their shirts and run around graveyards wearing paper-mache pumpkin heads? My friends are lame!

Devil on the beach
Ah, there's nothing like a woman in an old timey bathingsuit wearing a giant devil mask while carring balloons. Warms my heart.

Discount diamond skull
Three weeks ago I wrote about Damien Hirst's diamond-encrusted $100 million skull. Now there's a
way for you to get the same look for much much less. iArtist sells diamond skull kits for just $83. That will get you
a plastic skull, 8,601 crystal beads, glue, a paintbrush, tweezers, silver paint and instructions. Some assembly required.

Knick-knacks or skull?
From Apartment Therapy: "British artist James Hopkins carefully constructs installations with mundane everyday objects into artwork with hidden messages. The question is, do you see the hidden image first or the plain old collection of objects?"

My summer house
My family has been spending summers in this little cabin for nearly 100 years now. Here are photos of the entrace in the in '50s
(with my grandfather in the doorway) and today. It's located in Parco dei Mostri ("Park of the Monsters") in Bomarzo, Italy. Feel free to stop by if you're in the neighborhood.

Castle Grayskull
This was built for ComicCon 2008. I wonder what happened to it once the convention was over?

Horror chokers
From the maker of yesterday's popular coffin coach comes a line of horror-themed necklaces. Choose from a variety of Frankenstein-esque stitches, throat-slit blood drops and toxic slime oozing chokers.

Coffin couch (version 2.0)
A while back I wrote about this brand of coffin couches. Well, believe it or not, someone else has come up with their own version. (Seen pictured above). Personally, I prefer the look of the more modern, leather coffin couch. On the other hand though, I do appreciate the way this one folds up into a coffee table. Aw hell, I'll just get one of each.

Monster buckles
One of my favorite artists, Elizabeth McGrath, created this awesome two-headed bat
for the fine folks at Monster Buckles. It's available as either a belt buckle or necklace.
Be sure to check out the rest of their awesome horror-inspired buckle collection. They have everything from the very cool zombie buckle with movable jaw (seen above) to hearses, Frankenstein monsters, cyclopes, and more.
